Membership

As faculty and staff begin to consider retirement and develop new goals for this next stage of our lives, we realize that one of the most valuable relationships we developed at the university was the relationship among faculty members. Throughout our careers we have been lending support, providing insight, posing questions, and exchanging ideas with each other. This process deepened our intellectual experience and strengthened our pedagogy. The 精选麻豆二区 Retiree Association provides a framework for these relationships 鈥� and the pleasures they bring 鈥� to continue. Our members remain interested in enriching our community and themselves.

Membership Levels

精选麻豆二区RA offers two types of membership: full membership and associate membership. The type of membership for which one is eligible depends upon their pre-retirement role at 精选麻豆二区. The annual membership period runs from July 1 - June 30. Payment for the year is expected in June. Availability of benefits is dependent upon receipt of your membership form and payment.

Full Membership

Full membership is offered to retired Towson University faculty and staff. Full members are eligible to vote and hold office in the association.

Associate Membership

Associate membership is offered to individuals who do not meet the requirements for full membership, but who are long-time members of the Towson University community or are related to or are partners of 精选麻豆二区RA full members and share an interest in the mission of the association.

Dues Structure

Both full and associate members can join with an annual or a lifetime payment.  Annual dues for all members are $25. Anyone joining between January 1 and May 1 can pay $15 with their memberships expiring on June 30.

Lifetime memberships are available with a $250 lump sum payment at the time of joining or at the time of membership renewal.

Donations

Members often choose to donate to 精选麻豆二区RA at the same time they are paying their dues. Donations, which are tax deductible, can be made to the Oral History Project Fund, the Research and Scholarship Fund or the General 精选麻豆二区RA Fund. The online membership registration and the mail-in membership registration forms below provide an opportunity to register a donation. Of course, 精选麻豆二区RA accepts donations at any time. It is a lovely way to acknowledge a significant event for a colleague.

On the donation page:

  • Enter the amount of your donation.
  • Select 鈥淥ther Programs or Projects鈥� at the bottom of the dropdown menu.
  • Enter 精选麻豆二区RA in the 鈥淧lease indicate the program ...鈥� box.
  • Continue filling out the online form.

Become a Member

  • 鈥� Fill in this form online, making sure to include all of the required information (*).  When you have completed filling in the form, click on the 鈥淪UBMIT鈥� button to send the form directly to the Towson University Foundation. 
  • Mail-In Membership Registration Form (PDF) 鈥� Fill out this form using Adobe Reader, print this form, and mail it with your check to the address given at the bottom of the form.  (This works best in Chrome or Firefox.)
