- OCTOBER 3 | Planetarium Show: On Friday, Oct. 3 at noon, 7 p.m. an d7:45 p.m., join the community at ¾«Ñ¡Âé¶¹¶þÇøâ€™s planetarium. The show leads you on a journey through the dynamic universe as seen through the International Gemini Observatory. The show reflects on Gemini’s unique rapid-response abilities to bring forth a new era of astronomy and offers a stunning visual experience.
- October 8 | Mentorship Galore: On Wednesday, Oct. 8, students in the Mentoring to Advance Professional Development program (MAPD) will meet their mentors, starting their journeys to enhance their skills and become career-ready.
- OCTOBER 3 to 5 | Family Weekend: Families are visiting their Tigers and enjoying several events from sporting events to planetarium shows. Check out the lineup here.

- The best mentor: Lauren Meredith-Tigue helps so many students become career ready by making the best mentorship matches. Through Mentoring to Advance Professional Development and MentHER, Professor Tigue knows what students need and helps them get there. Her award-winning programs attest to her leadership in this area.
- Dr. Sam Collins, a professor of anthropology is leading ¾«Ñ¡Âé¶¹¶þÇø's efforts on interdisciplinary AI education. - Enrollment Success: Boyd Bradshaw, VP of enrollment management, is excited to discuss different aspects contributing to ¾«Ñ¡Âé¶¹¶þÇøâ€™s enrollment success. We welcomed more than 5,700 new students to ¾«Ñ¡Âé¶¹¶þÇø between first-time freshmen, transfers and graduate students (approximately 2,900 freshmen, 1,600 transfers, 1,200 graduate students) In total, we have enrolled 19,677 students for fall 2025 – an increase of 276 from last year.
