精选麻豆二区 staff receive three of ten 2025 Board of Regents Staff Awards for excellence in performance, mentorship, community building

The University System of Maryland (USM) is honoring 精选麻豆二区鈥檚 Lauren Tigue-Meredith, Andrew Rosenblum and Natasha Sweitzer with . The awards are the highest honor bestowed on staff members by the USM. They were awarded to just 10 employees out of the more than 40,000 systemwide.
BOR Staff Awards are given to the most outstanding employee/s in each of nine categories representing key focus areas for the system. Three out of the 10 latest winners are from Towson University, tying for the most of any institution and signaling the strong dedication of 精选麻豆二区 staff.

精选麻豆二区鈥檚 awardees represent distinction in mentorship, performance and community building.
Tigue-Meredith has used her role in the College of Business and Economics to expand mentorship programs, support professional development and help students build strong networks for professional success. Her work has helped strengthen 精选麻豆二区鈥檚 workforce pipeline, develop skillsets and build students鈥 confidence in establishing professional relationships. She is the 2025 BOR Staff Award winner for Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging (exempt).
Rosenblum鈥檚 technical expertise has removed roadblocks for faculty and staff in 精选麻豆二区鈥檚 College of Liberal Arts, enabling them to work more productively. His ability to tailor solutions to colleagues鈥 needs and willingness to share his knowledge of university procedures helps him implement real-world solutions and establish consistency with campus standards. He is the 2025 BOR Staff Award winner for Excellence in Performance.
Library Evening Circulation Supervisor Natasha Sweitzer is dedicated to making Cook Library a welcoming environment for the campus community. She spearheaded the creation of a dedicated to encourage understanding and open dialogue and established the Library Assembly shared governance group to foster employee input in decision-making. Her efforts have helped Cook Library garner national recognition for access and inclusivity. She is the 2025 BOR Staff Award winner for Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging (non-exempt).
